Our approach to compliance
Secure Chain is committed to operating to a high standard of integrity, transparency and legal compliance across every engagement. This overview sets out the framework that governs how we work and how our related policies fit together.
Our services are investigative and documentary in nature. We trace, analyse and document digital-asset activity; we do not hold client funds, execute transactions, or provide regulated investment advice.
Our compliance framework
Our compliance framework is built around a set of published policies, each addressing a specific area of risk and responsibility. Together they cover financial-crime prevention, data protection, sanctions, ethical conduct and operational resilience.
These include, among others:
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policies
- Counter-Terrorist Financing and Sanctions Compliance policies
- Anti-Bribery, Conflicts of Interest and Whistleblowing policies
- Data Security, GDPR and Risk Disclosure policies
Ongoing review
Our policies are reviewed periodically and updated to reflect changes in law, regulation and best practice. Where an engagement raises a compliance question, work is paused until it is resolved.
